Carboxytherapy Cellulite Treatment

Carboxytherapy consists of the therapeutic use of carbon dioxide (CO2) administered under the skin, where fat deposits are found. This innovative cellulite treatment has turned out to be one of the best treatments with which to combat cellulite, excess fat and corporal and/or facial aging. The administration of CO2 in places where cellulite appears allows the recovery of the smoothness of skin by providing proper circulation.

In this way, carboxytherapy augments the quantity and speed of the blood flow, diminishing the accumulation of liquids between cells and disintegrating the fat located the hipo-dermis. Additionally, the treatment stimulates local metabolism in a total natural way by augmenting micro-circulation, eliminating toxins and activating the destruction of fatty tissue.

Before any type of procedure is performed, patients are strongly advised to have a detailed discussion with their doctor. By doing so, both parties have the opportunity to contribute in the whole process and to increase the client’s level of satisfaction.
People of all ages can receive a Carboxytherapy treatment; the procedure is effective equally in women as in men. However, patients who submit themselves to this treatment most be in good health and have localized fat deposits. The results of this procedure can be permanent if the patient maintains a healthy diet and an appropriate lifestyle. This is one of the core values we have here at HCR; we want ourclients to be completely satisfied with the results of their treatment and to heighten their self-assurance.
Carboxytherapy is a simple procedure that consists in the injection of pure CO2 within the subcutaneous layer of the skin using a very fine needle. Due to the great diffusive quality of liquid CO2, once it has penetrated the fatty tissue, it easily spreads to adjacent tissues. Once there, it exerts its positive effect on the blood flow and rapidly stimulates de local metabolism.
The experts on this treatment state that tangible results can be obtained during the first session. After this initial application, the skin of the treated area becomes visibly smoother, the quality of the tissue improves and the zone loses volume slightly. The therapy usually takes around 12 to 15 sessions, each application taking around 30 to 40 minutes. Sessions can be done twice a week.
Unlike other treatments (like reductive massages, creams and gels), the results of carboxy therapy are long lasting. These are maintained for 5 to 6 months during which you only need to repeat sessions 3 to 5 times.
The results become completely evident after the fifth session: you will notice your skin looking shinier and smoother. Between the eighth and tenth session, you will feel your subcutaneous tissue getting firmer and slimmer.

At one stage, her passion for the topic made her think about obtaining some type of certification in the field. However, she realised she was probably learning just as much by researching and writing her articles. And having a lot more fun whilst she was about it.
