Laserdermology is a cellulite treatment that uses a Tri-Active system. It minimizes cellulite, smoothes and tightens your face and body, enhances microcirculation and therapeutic massage. This system was originally developed 3 years ago by laser scientists in Italy. The procedure is not painful and not even as strenuous as a traditional massage. Apart from the thighs and buttocks for cellulite, most other parts of the body can be treated as well as the face, the love-handles, tummy, upper arms and neck.

Adequate Candidates

Women who are pregnant, or who have a history of bronchial asthma or acute asthma, lower abdominal disorders, thrombophlebitis, congestive heart failure, hyperthyroidism, or carotid sinus syndrome should not submit themselves to a tri-active procedure.

The Procedure

Individual results for a tri-active treatment can depend on various factors: the area being treated, whether treatment is combined with another procedure, diet or exercise, age and general condition as well as the number of sessions you with to undertake. The treatment consists of three phases:

. Deep Laser Action-This action of the six diode lasers enhances microcirculation.

. Mechanical Massage-This deep massaging and stimulating action on the subcutaneous tissue may result in a tighter appearance in the treated areas. This can be particularly noticeable when the treatments are done before and after liposuction procedures.

. Localized cooling-Cooling aids in smoothing the appearance of cellulite. The procedure is typically done in a series of 10 to 12 sessions in a given area. Each treatment lasts approximately 30-40 minutes. These can be spaced as closely as 3 times a week or as far out as once a week. In some cases it may take up to 6 to 10 treatments before you start to see significant results and maintenance is required once a month after you have obtained the desired results.

There is no recovery time after this treatment, you may resume your normal day to day activities without any complications.
