Tumescent Liposuction

The Tumescent Technique minimizes post-operative discomfort. Because the residual local anesthesia lasts for 12-18 hours or more, plain Tylenol is sufficient to treat post-operative discomfort, although you will be provided with stronger medication if needed. With the Tumescent Technique there is no post-surgical nausea, nor the unpleasant feeling of “hang-over” usually associated with general anesthesia. The Tumescent Technique dramatically reduces both the bleeding during surgery, and the post-operative bruising and swelling as compared to liposuction done purely by general anesthesia. Minimal bleeding reduces post-operative recovery time. Most patients can return to work within three to four days after surgery. An elastic support garment is worn for a few weeks following surgery.

Smartlipo

SmartLipo is different in that it uses a carefully calibrated laser to liquefy fat deposits through the top layers of the patient’s skin. The laser actually ruptures fat cells, and the resulting oily, liquid substance is then removed through a tiny incision in the skin by the surgeon. The small laser can also seal blood vessels as it zaps fat, so there is less swelling, bleeding and bruising than with traditional liposuction. Research has shown that little, if any, fat is reabsorbed back into the body. The minimal invasiveness of the procedure allows patients to see faster results and to experience fewer complications.

In addition, SmartLipo patients need only a local anesthetic for this procedure, whereas liposuction requires general anesthesia. Because the patient is not completely unconscious, SmartLipo carries much fewer risks than traditional liposuction, and the recovery time is much shorter.

VASER LipoSelection

A precise and efficient fat removal procedure combining advanced surgical techniques and proprietary technology known as the VASER System. The VASER LipoSelection® procedure uses ultrasound energy to break up fat, leaving important tissue (such as blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue) relatively intact. By minimizing damage to other tissue, patients typically experience highly satisfactory results, including smooth contours with low to minimal pain and low to minimal swelling and bruising.

Laser Lipolysis Cool Lipo

Cool Lipo™ uses a fine laser fiber to gently melt fat, and uses the laser’s energy to shrink and tighten skin at the same time. Early results of skin tightening are seen in a few days to a few weeks, and further tightening occurs over the next 6 months giving you a sleeker, more trim figure that you could never achieve by diet and exercise alone.

Melt your fat pockets and tighten your skin in one, minimally invasive office procedure. The Cool Lipo™ Procedure liquefies fat for easy removal from the: neck, jowels, upper arms, upper and lower abdomen, “love handles,” under-bra-rolls, hips, saddlebags, inner thighs, and knees. And, we have seen some amazing results on stretch marks.

Power Assisted Liposuction

Power-assisted liposuction refers to a new technology whereby the tip of the suction tube vibrates at a rapid speed. This vibration loosens the fat cells so that they may be suctioned away gently with less trauma to the surrounding tissues. PAL is performed using tumescent technique. This involves infusing large volumes of saline, local anesthesia and adrenaline. This maximizes the effectiveness of the fat removal and patient comfort, and it helps to minimize bruising. Power-assisted liposuction has several important advantages over the older techniques of ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) and suction-assisted liposuction (SAL). These benefits include increased safety, decreased anesthesia time, less bruising, faster recovery, increased efficacy and greater precision. Research has shown that power-assisted liposuction is an effective and safer way to eliminate unwanted deposits of fat.

Sam Williams

Sam Williams is a writer, wannabe novelist, keen amateur photographer, and health nut. He’s also particularly fond of trekking holidays, and has a habit of dragging his long-suffering family with him. Along the way, he gets to sample many of the local delicacies and whilst some them may not be as healthy as he’d like, he figures it’s a sacrifice he needs to make in the interests of quality in-depth research. After all, nothing beats writing about first-hand experiences.
